Amsterdam
I went to Amsterdam in the fall of 2019 on a school exchange. We were gone for one week, far too short in my opinion. We crammed so much into those seven days and made so many amazing memories. I still talk about my adventures today and it is an inspiration for my future travels. I met some amazing people that I am still able to keep in touch with today. During this trip, we stayed with billeted families with kids around our age. I loved seeing the authentic Dutch culture. Their way of life, and daily adventures of living in the big city. I had the opportunity to see some locations off the beaten path that had a more special meaning than a big national tourist attraction. I was able to learn more interesting history and fun facts about The Netherlands.
