About Me
My name is Cali, and no it's not short for California, I am a seventeen-year-old living in Canada. My head is filled with big adventures and I want to see the world.

You've managed to stumble across my modest little travel dream blog. I'm in love with the places I've never been to. I live by that and many other cheesy travel quotes. I absolutely cannot wait until I am able to travel. I haven't been to very many places around the world and I think that is partly why I'm so investing in learning so much because I want to experience the unique cultures not just through a screen.

I'm just finishing up with school and looking forward to seeing the world. My love for travel has started a love for languages and photography. I am learning French and Spanish and hope to be able to use what I learn in my travels. People tell me that I need to go to university and get a real job. But if I could, I'd just skip that whole part and adventure the world. Our society is filled with rights and wrongs and tells you how to love your life. Maybe I just want to break out of that little box that's been built for us.

I can see myself in a career in journalism or tourism management. The places I've been and the people I have the honor of knowing have inspired me for this. I can say this all now, but in ten years who knows where I'll end up. I want to be able to look back on my life with a smile on my face, proud and pleased with my accomplishments.

For my blog, I decided to focus on places I have already been to. I absolutely love Amsterdam and all the wonderful cities in Denmark. I knew I wanted to highlight my favourite memories from those trips. My family loves going to the Western side of the States. We have been to Washington, California, Nevada, and Hawaii. Each has something wonderful to offer. I decided to incorporate my love for languages into the blog as well. I have been learning French since I was a kid and started learning Spanish a few years ago. I am far from fluent in each, but I absolutely love seeing the way that languages are so unique. I would absolutely love to continue to work on this blog in the future to document all of my adventures. I admire many people out there with their professional travel blogs and maybe I will be in that position one day too. This has been absolutely wonderful to work on and I have learned so much with my writing and design skills. I will never stop traveling.
